Position Summary: Quality Technician
As a Quality Technician at K S Tooling, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-precision quality of metal stampings and assembled components used in critical automotive, medical, and electrical applications. This role involves conducting rigorous inspections throughout the production cycle—from raw materials to final First Article Inspections—to maintain compliance with strict industry standards.

As a Quality Technician at K S Tooling, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-precision quality of metal stampings and assembled components used in critical automotive, medical, and electrical applications. This role involves conducting rigorous inspections throughout the production cycle—from raw materials to final First Article Inspections—to maintain compliance with strict industry standards.
- Precision Inspection: Perform dimensional and visual inspections of stamped, molded and assembled parts using advanced instruments like SmartScope, optical comparators, calipers, and micrometers.
- Quality Assurance & Documentation: Execute inspections according to Quality Inspection Plans and record all data following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Nonconformance Management: Identify, document, and contain nonconforming products while supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Process Support: Participate in GR&R studies, capability analyses, and internal audits to ensure continuous improvement and cleanroom protocol adherence.
- Experience: Ideally 1+ years in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand-held measurement tools and the ability to interpret technical specifications.
- Soft Skills: Strong written communication for reporting and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Complete all required KST training.
- Follow all press and workplace safety procedures.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
